Biography
Karim Yousry is one of Egypt's youngest DJs to break through the scene and perform alongside international artists. His career started in 2003 after he was inspired by various underground artists. From observing to learning, he managed to create a style of his own.

He not only embraced music but also organized authentic raves and underground after-parties, fostering a community and safe havens for music enthusiasts during a time when electronic music was a niche interest.​

​Leading Cairo's weekday nightlife with his dazzling "Abstrakt" event encouraging the local upcoming talents and inviting some of the most decent international artists to create a space for the audience to listen to underground sets on a non-judgmental dancefloor.​
One of the highlights of 2018 was winning the decoded magazine "mix of the month" competition, besides the successful signature morning gig "Tangerine" by the Nile.
Now, he's introduced a groundbreaking concept known as "Kultshur" a name derived from "Culture" This concept explores subjectivity, creating non-judgmental dance floors where the focus is purely on the enjoyment of the music, fostering an environment where phones take a backseat to the euphoria of the experience.

As Kultshur, we had the privilege of curating a showcase for our label [Kultshur Records] at the NYE 2025 event in collaboration with Cosmic Nomads.
This collaboration involved taking full ownership of marketing content creation, managing ticket sales, and contributing to the lineup with a closing set by Karim Yousry.

For Cosmic Nomads, we successfully developed and executed a comprehensive marketing and PR campaign that resulted in selling over 400 tickets for Dahab’s exclusive New Year’s event, attracting a polished crowd of international guests. Our team managed every aspect of the project, from targeted marketing and ticket sales to creating compelling visuals, overseeing stage management, and coordinating sound checks.
The event featured two standout performances, including an international headliner and Karim Yousry closing the night with a unique set, delivering an exceptional experience for all attendees.
